LGU Milagros under the leadership of Mayor Natividad Isabel Revil-Magbalon, MD provides cash subsidy to qualified Solo Parents in accordance to RA 11861 or the Expanded Solo Parents Welfare Act of 2022. A total of 68 Solo Parents from different barangays in the Municipality of Milagros received the Cash Subsidy for the months of November-December 2024 released on Thursday, February 6, 2025. On the same day, the Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office headed by Ms.Ruth R. Sia,RSW collaborated to Public Attorney’s Office with Attorney Dorothy Arcenas-Magallanes and Attorney Myra M. Manlangit to provide free notarial services for Solo Parents in securing their Affidavits. LGU Milagros promotes the welfare of the vulnerable sectors including the Solo Parents for a progressive and inclusive community where every Milagreño is given encouragement and has the chance to develop and uplift their lives. Note: Another batch of payroll for this year 2025 is already processed to help more qualified Solo Parents.
