𝐂𝐀𝐑𝐌𝐄𝐋𝐀𝐃𝐎 is a milk candy delicacy from Milagros, Masbate, Philippines, traditionally made with carabao’s milk and sugar. It’s similar to pastillas de leche but is more solid. Some claim it tastes different than other milk candies, like those made with canned milk. 𝐏𝐔𝐓𝐎 (Steamed Rice Cakes) – typically enjoyed as a snack or breakfast. It’s traditionally made from fermented rice batter, but modern variations include recipes using rice flour. Puto is often eaten on its own or as a side dish with savory meals.
