On March 25, 2025, the DILG Masbate Cluster 2 Technical Support Team, led by Sub-Cluster Head/Team Leader 𝑳𝑮𝑶𝑶 𝑽𝑰 𝑵𝒊𝒄𝒂 𝑨𝒏𝒈𝒆𝒍𝒊𝒄𝒂 𝑩. 𝑳𝒖𝒛𝒐𝒏𝒈, successfully rolled out the ʟᴀᴋʙᴀʏᴀɴɪʜᴀɴ ᴛᴏᴡᴀʀᴅꜱ ᴇxᴄᴇʟʟᴇɴᴄᴇ ɪɴ ʟᴏᴄᴀʟ ɢᴏᴠᴇʀɴᴀɴᴄᴇ ᴘʀᴏɢʀᴀᴍ in LGU Milagros, Masbate. The team of six Field Officers from Cluster 2, together with DILG Masbate SGLG Provincial Focal Person ʟɢᴏᴏ ᴠɪ ᴍᴀ. ʀᴏᴡᴇɴᴀ ᴀ. ᴍᴇᴅɪɴᴀ and ʟɢᴏᴏ ɪɪ ᴅᴜᴋᴋɪᴀʀᴀ ʟᴇʏ ʙ. ᴅᴜ, worked together to bring this program to life, aiming to promote excellence in local governance. The 𝑳𝒂𝒌𝒃𝒂𝒚𝒂𝒏𝒊𝒉𝒂𝒏 𝑷𝒓𝒐𝒈𝒓𝒂𝒎 is an innovation that aims to enhance the capabilities and performance of local government units (within the cluster) through collaboration, knowledge sharing, and peer learning. With the strong leadership of 𝑯𝒐𝒏. 𝑵𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒗𝒊𝒅𝒂𝒅 𝑰𝒔𝒂𝒃𝒆𝒍 𝑹. 𝑴𝒂𝒈𝒃𝒂𝒍𝒐𝒏 and the entire LGU team, Milagros is poised for even greater success! Their goal is to sustain their gains in 2024 on the Seal of Good Local Governance, make a positive impact on their constituents, and take LGU Milagros to the NEXT LEVEL! The activity focused on the conduct of ᴘʀᴇ-ᴀꜱꜱᴇꜱꜱᴍᴇɴᴛ ꜰᴏʀ ᴛʜᴇ ᴄʏ2025 ꜱᴇᴀʟ ᴏꜰ ɢᴏᴏᴅ ʟᴏᴄᴀʟ ɢᴏᴠᴇʀɴᴀɴᴄᴇ utilizing the ROAD to SGLG’s assessment tool called STEPS v.2 and guided by each member of the TS Team. It also served as a venue to introduce and promote the Lakbayanihan Program initiative and the Sub-Local Governance Resource Center (LGRC). LGU compliance with DILG deliverables was also presented.
