❗Courtesy Call with BPI Foundation: Advancing Farmers’ Agroenterprises❗ August 14, 2024 – Mayor Natividad Isabel Revil-Magbalon welcomed delegates from the Bank of the Philippine Islands (BPI) Foundation for a courtesy call regarding the “BPIF Farm to Table x RiceBIS Masbate: Building Self-Reliant Farmers through Agroenterprises” initiative. During the meeting, BPI Foundation informed the Mayor about the financial support granted to the Baclay Agrarian Reform Beneficiaries Cooperative (BARBC) to further develop its rice kropek and pinted rice (red and black glutinous) enterprises. This initiative seeks to promote the social and economic empowerment of farmers through strengthened agroenterprise development. The project forms part of the Farm-to-Table strategy, a comprehensive approach championing sustainable agriculture, innovation, entrepreneurship, market access, and financial inclusion, paving the way for resilient and self-reliant farming communities in Milagros. #milagrostothenextlevel #MilagrosTODAY
