Distribution of Zero Open Defecation (ZOD) materials was conducted yesterday by Rural Sanitary Inspector Lura D. Arnedo at Barangays Bacolod, Capaculan, Cayabon, Matiporon, and Narangasan, in partnership with LGU Milagros.

This activity was carried out in compliance with Presidential Decree No. 856 (Code on Sanitation of the Philippines) to promote proper sanitation, elimination of open defecation practices, improved hygiene, and prevention of sanitation-related and waterborne diseases. The initiative aims to strengthen community awareness and support barangay efforts toward achieving and sustaining Zero Open Defecation status.
