Municipality of Milagros conducted a turnover ceremony for the Material Recovery Facility (MRF) to the Barangay Local Government Unit (BLGU) of Matiporon, Milagros, Masbate.

On February 20, 2025, under the leadership of Mayor Natividad Isabel Revil-Magbalon, M.D., the Municipality of Milagros conducted a turnover ceremony for the Material Recovery Facility (MRF) to the Barangay Local Government Unit (BLGU) of Matiporon, Milagros, Masbate. OIC Municipal Accountant Aravela T. Rebaya, CPA, and Municipal General Services Officer Hygen B. Santillan, CPA, executed the signing of the Deed of Donation. This initiative was made possible through the efforts of Municipal Environment and Natural Resources Officer Carmen B. Cortes, ENP. The MRF will play a vital role in sorting and preparing recyclable materials for reuse, significantly reducing the volume of waste that would otherwise end up in landfills. This successful turnover highlights the municipality’s commitment to environmental sustainability and supports the ongoing growth and development of the Municipality of Milagros.
