NATIONAL CHILDREN’S MONTH

Today is the culminating activity in celebrating National Children’s Month 2025 with the theme OSAEC-CSAEM Wakasan: Kaligtasan at Karapatan ng bata Ipaglaban. Pre-Kindergarten Children showed their talents in dancing trained by the Child Development Workers. Parents cannot hide their excitement and happiness while their children are confidently performing in the stage. The highlight of the activity is the State of the Children’s Address by Hon. Natividad Isabel R. Magbalon wherein she expressed how the LGU is committed in fulfilling the four core rights of the child Right to Survival, Development, Participation, and Protection. Despite the challenges issues faced by the children the LGU through its different child-related activities continue to implement and work collaboratively to fight all forms of abuse. Part of the activity is also awarding stakeholders who made significant impact and contribution for the Milagreño Children: -Awarding of Plaque of Recognition to April Ces D. Valencia the outgoing Municipal Child Representative. -Awarding of certificate and cash incentive akounting to Php 10,000.00 to Teacher Bella Aninang of Calasuche Child Development Center achieved Level 1 and Teacher Novy M. Francisco achieved Level 2 during the Accreditation to Public Learning Centers last April 2025. -Awarding of Certificate of Recognition to Barangay Council for the Protection of Children and Barangay VAW Desk Office for achieving Moderateand High Level of Functionality.
