In observance of National Disaster Resilience Month, the Milagros Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (MDRRMO), headed by Engr. Rommel R. Magbalon, under the leadership of Municipal Mayor and MDRRMC Chairperson Hon. Natividad Isabel R. Magbalon, in collaboration and partnership with the BFP Milagros, led by Fire Marshal SFO1 Lorena F. Ragasa, and MDRRMO Mobo, headed by Richard M. Lupango, successfully conducted a 3-day Disaster Preparedness and Response Training for School DRRM Coordinators at Winter’s Farm from July 22–24, 2026.
The training provided participants with practical knowledge and hands-on skills in Basic Life Support (BLS), Basic Emergency First Aid, Basic Fire Safety Management, and Emergency/Disaster Crisis Management, empowering them to respond confidently during emergencies and promote a culture of safety and preparedness in their respective schools.
Through initiatives like this, the MDRRMO remains committed to building a safer, more prepared, and disaster-resilient Milagros by continuously strengthening the capabilities of our educators and community partners.
