July 15, 2025 | In celebration of Nutrition Month 2025, the LGU of Milagros and the Municipal Health Office held a joint Nutrition Counseling and Consultation activity for the barangays of San Carlos, Matagbac, and San Antonio.
Focused on addressing cases of severe and moderate malnutrition (SAM & MAM), the activity provided one-on-one consultations for affected children and hands-on counseling for parents and guardians—empowering families with knowledge they can bring home and apply daily.
Guided by the theme “SA PPAN SAMA-SAMA SA NUTRISYONG SAPAT PARA SA LAHAT!”, this multi-barangay initiative highlights the importance of unity and equal access to food and health services. It was more than a program—it was a step toward building stronger, healthier communities.
To wrap up the day, participants received vegetable seeds, food packs, and certificates—simple yet meaningful support to help families continue their journey toward better nutrition at home.
