OFFICIAL ADVISORY | EXECUTIVE ORDER NO. 18, SERIES OF 2026

In response to the prevailing low-pressure area affecting the Province of Masbate, I have issued Executive Order No. 18, Series of 2026, adopting and implementing precautionary measures to safeguard the lives and welfare of all Masbateños. Pursuant to this Executive Order, the following measures shall be observed: 🔹 Suspension of Sea Travel – All small sea vessels and watercraft operating within the waters of Masbate are prohibited from sailing until further notice. 🔹 Possible Suspension of Classes – Local chief executives, in coordination with school heads and principals, are authorized to declare class suspensions in affected areas whenever necessary. These precautionary measures are based on the latest weather advisories issued by DOST-PAGASA and the recommendations of the Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (PDRRMC) to ensure the safety and well-being of our people. I urge all Masbateños to remain vigilant, monitor official weather updates, and strictly follow the advisories and directives issued by the concerned authorities.
