Seminar on R.A 11861& RA 10364 and Subsidy Payout for Solo Parents

April 27, 2026 The Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office spearheaded a Seminar regarding R.A 11861 or the “Expanded Solo Parents Welfare Act of 2022” and R.A 10364 or the “Expanded Anti-Trafficking in Persons Act of 2012” with Resource Person Attorney Joshua Cortes of the Legal Unit of DepEd Province. Also, Subsidy Payout was conducted benefiting 174 Indigent Solo Parents. The Solo Parents also availed Free Notarial Services in partnership with the Public Attorney’s Office in the presence of Atty. Hannibal Barruga. Solo Parents also enjoyed free beauty care services like free manicure, pedicure, free hair blackening and coloring. Also, there is a raffle draw of some souvenir items. Solo Parent Presidents were also provided with advocacy Shirts. The LGU-Milagros headed by Municipal Mayor Hon. Natividad Isabel R. Magbalon continuously uphold its commitment to provide services to enhance the welfare of the vulnerable sectors including the Solo Parents.
