Zero Waste Milagros
As our community continues to grow, the amount of waste we generate increases as well. To address this challenge, the Local Government Unit of Milagros remains committed to improving waste management systems that promote cleanliness, safety, and environmental responsibility.
Today, we proudly introduce the new Waste Management Machineries of the local government of Milagros, designed to support proper, organized, and efficient waste and trash disposal.
1. The Bio Waste Granulator at the Sanitary Landfill of the Municipality of Milagros is a mechanical equipment used to shred and reduce biodegradable waste such as food scraps, market waste, and other organic materials into smaller, uniform particles. This process significantly decreases waste volume and improves handling while reducing odor and environmental impact within the landfill area.
2. The Plastic Granulator is a mechanical machine designed to process plastic waste by cutting and shredding it into small, uniform granules. It is used specifically for single-use plastics such as sando bags, plastic bags, plastic labo, packaging plastics, and sachets, allowing these materials to be efficiently reduced in size.
3. The Rotary Vibrator Separator is used after the bio waste granulator to further process shredded biodegradable waste. Since the bio waste granulator reduces organic waste into very small particles, the rotary vibrator separator helps sort and separate the material based on size and consistency.
4. The Brick Making Machine in the Municipality of Milagros utilizes shredded plastic and glass to produce durable and uniform bricks. By compressing these recycled materials, the machine transforms waste into construction-ready bricks, giving a second life to materials that would otherwise end up in the landfill.
5. The Bottle Crusher is a machine that crushes glass bottles into small, manageable pieces, reducing their volume and preparing them for recycling. The shredded glass can be mixed with other materials to produce hollow blocks and bricks, giving glass waste a new purpose in construction.
6. The Sand Vibrator helps minimize the time needed to screen large sand particles, producing fine and uniform sand ready for brick and hollow block production. By quickly separating oversized particles, it ensures that the resulting sand is consistent and ideal for mixing with recycled materials like shredded plastic and glass.
7. The Mixer is a machine used in brick and hollow block production to thoroughly combine raw materials such as sand, cement, shredded plastic, and glass. It ensures an even and consistent mixture, which is essential for producing strong and durable bricks.
With these new machineries, waste collection and disposal become more systematic, efficient, and environmentally friendly—leading to cleaner streets and healthier communities.
However, effective waste management is a shared responsibility. We encourage every citizen to practice proper waste segregation, follow collection schedules, and support the programs of the local government.
The Local Government Unit of Milagros envisions a cleaner, healthier, and more sustainable community through its goal, ZERO WASTE MILAGROS. ♻️
